Ambushed NY firemen shot dead; two police killed elsewhere

Reuters – by Chris Francescani

A gunman, who spent 17 years in prison for murder, ambushed and killed two volunteer firefighters and wounded two others on Monday near Rochester, New York, as they responded to a house fire he deliberately set, police said.

William Spengler, 62, shot and killed himself after a gunfight with a police officer in Webster, a Rochester suburb, Webster Police Chief Gerald Pickering said.

“It was a trap set by Mr. Spengler, who laid in wait and shot first responders,” Pickering told a news conference.

Separately, a police officer in Wisconsin and another in Texas were shot and killed on Monday, according to police and media reports.

The attacks on first responders came 10 days after one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history that left 20 students and six adults dead at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, and intensified the debateabout gun control in the United States.

Spengler was convicted of manslaughter in 1981 for beating his 92-year-old grandmother to death with a hammer, according to New York State Department of Corrections records. After prison he spent eight years on parole.

“We don’t have an easy reason” for the attack on the firefighters, Pickering said, “but just looking at the history … obviously this was an individual with a lot of problems.”

Spengler opened fire around 5:45 a.m. after two of the firefighters arrived at the house in a fire truck and two others responded in their own cars, Pickering said.

Pickering appeared to wipe tears from his eyes at an earlier news conference when he identified the dead firefighters as Lieutenant Michael Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka. Chiapperini was also a police lieutenant.

The injured firefighters, one of whom was in critical condition, were identified as Joseph Hofsetter and Theodore Scardino. Off-duty Police Officer John Ritter was hit by gunfire as he drove past the scene.

Pickering said police had found several types of weapons, including a rifle used to shoot the firefighters. As a convicted felon it was illegal for Spengler to own guns.

Police had not had any contact with Spengler in the “recent past,” Pickering said.

Four houses were destroyed by the fire and four were damaged, Pickering said.

Police Officer Jennifer Sebena, 30, was found dead on Monday in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, suburb of Wauwatosa, police said.

Sebena was on patrol between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. and wearing body armor when she was shot several times, police said. She was found by another officer after she did not respond to calls from the police dispatcher.

In Houston, Texas, an officer with the Bellaire Police Department died after a shootout at around 9 a.m. and a bystander was also killed, according to local media reports.

A spokesperson for the Houston Police Department was not immediately available for comment. A police officer answering the telephone confirmed media reports but declined further comment. A suspect was in the hospital, according to reports.

Before Monday’s killings, the Washington-based National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund reported that 125 federal, state and local officers had died in the line of duty this year.

Forty-seven deaths were firearms-related, 50 were from traffic-related incidents, and 28 were from other causes, it said.

Looks like they’re rolling out all the mind controlled zombies at once.

The first reports from the NY shooting said they were looking for “one or more shooters”. Conveniently, Spengler is dead. Like Lanza, there are no reports of anyone seeing him shoot himself because he probably didn’t.

For the psychopaths, this is a perfect follow up to the massacre of the children in CT. Everyone like and respects firefighters, unlike cops.

Another incident of NO MOTIVE, Shooter NOT seen shooting, “shooter” conveniently kills himself.

You have to give the CIA a hand,.. they are getting more creative at trying to give the illusion of a gun violent society that needs to be “disarmed”,… for its own good of course.

As I have stated many times before: Expect to see more of these types of events, both great and small, but mundane and extraordinary.

The gambit right now: Keep up the “fear-momentum”, which can only be done by the CIA staging more shooting events!

When there is no public outcry for “disarm”,… the CIA WILL step in with another massive type shooting event,.. 100% guaranteed.

Until Americans realize, decide, and act on abolishing this treasonous gov’t,.. we will keep seeing these kinds of events from now on.

This is right out of the gladio handbook.

These will only continue at an increasing pace until something gives. We all need to ask ourselves, if we can let them walk while children are dead what else will we let them get away with?

I’m afraid of what the big one for these guys might look like…

Pickering said he was not sure what the victims were shot with but said Spengler had an “arsenal of ammunition” and three weapons – a Smith and Wesson .38 revolver, a pump action Mossberg shotgun, and a .223 Bushmaster rifle with a flash suppressor.

      a 223 Bushmaster rifle

      from the reuters article

notice how they also said he’s wearing body armor…

Even IF this thing is for real you notice how it’s the same thing…

These assholes want to get all the AR platform weapons out of our hands first. Not only are they the most commonly owned rifle domestically, it’s the most versatile and adaptable rifle system in the world. Snap off the upper receiver and swap it for a new caliber, no need to change the barrel. Spare parts are available widely too.

Because of how widely the enforcers use the 223 caliber round (as evidenced by the large purchase orders put out by the government) and how well experienced the general populace is in it’s use, the enforcers effectively become nothing more than mobile resupply points as it’s very apparent that just one guy who’s trained can out overwhelm several of them… especially using ambush tactics.

Now imagine what 10 of them can do… scary eh?

Imagine what 1 MILLION of them could do! We would have them overwhelmed before they could call in foreign troops.

Even if these guys had CAS, drones, tanks, or all these big and fancy toys they love to push in Pravda, I mean foxcnnmsnbc it still takes time to mobilize.

I just find it funny that they aren’t reporting AKs, Galils, Saigas, etc.

They can stop the importation of all the calibers they want, but these fools have SATURATED the country with the 223 rounds…

I said to a friend the other day that if the school shooting doesn’t work then they will target a hospital or an old age home.

Just something sent to me this morn:

Cops in Webster, N.Y., say the man who lured the West Webster Firefighters to their deaths left a typewritten note saying he wanted to burn down the neighborhood and “do what I like doing best, killing people.” Webster Police Chief Gerald Pickering said this morning that the man’s sister hasn’t been found yet. He said 62-year-old ex-convict Murderer Spengler armed himself with three weapons and set his house afire to lure first responders into a death trap.
NEW AUDIO-HERE IS A CLIP WITH BOTH POLICE & FIRE RADIO TRAFFIC merged along with combined photos and video:

As you may know from our earlier updates, 2 of the Firefighters arrived on the apparatus and 2 in their own vehicles. After Spengler fired, one of the wounded men fled, but the other three couldn’t because of flying gunfire. The police officer who exchanged gunfire with Spengler “in all likelihood saved many lives,” Police Chief Gerald Pickering said. A police armored vehicle was used to recover the men, and eventually it removed 33 people from nearby homes.
The Firefighters who gave their lives in the Line of Duty were identified as FF Michael Chiapperini, 43, who was also a PD LT and the Webster Police Department’s PIO; and 19-year-old FF Tomasz Kaczowka, a 911 Dispatcher for Monroe County.
Chief Pickering described Chiapperini as a “lifetime firefighter” with nearly 20 years in the department, and he called Kaczowka a “tremendous young man.”
The two wounded Firefighters, Joseph Hofstetter and Theodore Scardino, remained in guarded condition this afternoon at Strong Memorial Hospital. Both were awake and alert and are expected to recover. Hofstetter, also a full-timer with the Rochester FD, was hit once in the pelvis, and the bullet lodged in his spine. Scardino was hit in the chest and knee.

    The twisting of stories continues.

  5. # 1 NWO Hatr says:

Again, I have to say this.

With all of the “lone nut gunmen” running around lately, WHY are no politicians being targeted? Just about everyone hates politicians, so one would assume they would be high value targets. Not many would shed a tear if THOSE scumbags were being killed.

The only logical conclusion I can come to on this one is it is BECAUSE not many would shed a tear for these dirtbag politicians that they aren’t being targeted by their own so-called ‘government’.

    Damn shame, too.

    • BentSpear says:

It has something to do with the Misery Factor. Hitting targets that cause the most public outcry. If the evil Treasonous bastards were to be taken out, there would be cause for Celebration of the Masses. Can’t have that for a NWO controlled herd. Have to keep the masses dependent on what scraps the Tyrants throw from their tables.

    • Henry Shivley says:

No, the reason they are not targeted is because they are completely surrounded by people with…GUNS!!
Now if there is an event they are going to be at, there are snipers on top of the surrounding buildings. You see they don’t mind the GUNS protecting them. It is those that would protect us from them that they disapprove of.

    • NC says:

      So true, #1. So true….

And yet this doesn’t run through the naive sheeple’s minds because they for some reason still have some kind of belief that our government is here to help us and protect us and knows what’s good for us.

I mean with all of the crime shows they have on TV that people watch these days like CSI and who knows what else, you’d think sheeple would be at least somewhat smart enough to see a pattern going on here. A major shooting, followed by a call for more gun restrictions. At least 3 times already in one year. It’s not even rocket science.

Sadly, the only pattern these sheeple see are the patterns of how deer can mysteriously read “Deer crossing” signs and feel those signs should be moved to a safer and less populated area, so that the deer won’t be in harms way. (Sigh!)……..
