Jayne Loader, Kevin Rafferty and Pierce Rafferty’s absurdist 1982 Cold War documentary; a “compilation verite” collecting Army films, newsreels, government propaganda films and old television broadcasts of the USA entering the atomic age. In 2016, the film was selected for preservation in the United States’ National Film Registry by the Library of Congress, being deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”.

  1. When Mom and Dad moved to Vegas back in the 50’s, they would watch the mushroom clouds on Fremont Street. Mom thought it was cool. Little did she know.
