She was one of only three black kids in the whole school district back then; and the only one at her elementary school. Back then, they; along with a hand full of Hispanics here; were always well received. In fact; the minority kids were usually the most popular in school. White Settlement is the oldest town in Tarrant County; and a very unique place. The only drawback is being bordered on the whole east side by Lockheed, and the air base.
She is quite a thinker and not afraid to mention “Jews.” I disagreed on the McDonalds point, but she nailed the rest.
