I don’t know what to think about these booms. My initial thoughts were that they were some sort of underground construction. Possibly shelters being built. Now it seems like it could be an outside noise as opposed to coming from the ground. Verys strange, yet I think they may reveal themselves in the near future.

Clandestine military bombing of militia groups?

One commenter on another like article proposed they may be testing the strength of their DUMBs.

    Entirely possible.

i know EXACTLY what this is, and it’s not good.

what you are hearing is a fault-line tearing apart.
when a fault-line moves sideways you get an earthquake,
but when one simply pulls away you hear & feel the rock cracking apart under you.
it will sound like shotguns being fired.

anybody in that area needs to keep a close eye on the ground over the coming weeks for cracks opening up.

    Possibly fracking related tremors?

    • GeorgeW says:

I’ve been in the oil patch for 37 years and I believe there is no way fracking will set off tectonic plate movement. I doubt they even cause tremors, but what the heck, anything is possible.

Shale gas wells drilled to shallow depths are a concern for the possibility of damage to fresh water zones. Fracking shallow wells increases the risk of damage to the fresh water zones, and must be done with great care.
