CNN’s Don Lemon doesn’t apologize for calling white men ‘biggest terror threat’

Market Watch – by Shawn Langlois

Don Lemon to his critics: Sorry, not sorry.

It all started earlier this week when the CNN host set off a social-media firestorm during a conversation with Chris Cuomo in which he said this:

‘We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.’

As “The Daily Wire” put it, that’s Lemon “turning down the rhetoric” like:

The comments were made Monday as the two were discussing the Pittsburgh shooting, as well as the recent murder of two black men in Kentucky.

“There is no travel ban on them,” Lemon said during the handoff between shows. “There is no ban on — you know, they had the Muslim ban. There is no ‘white guy ban.’ So what do we do about that?”

His comments didn’t sit well with many notable white men, including Donald Trump Jr., who called Lemon a “moron” in this tweet Wednesday morning:

Jr. wasn’t the only recognizable voice from the right sounding off:

Even social-media website Gab.com, which has found its way into the newsflow lately, offered up its thoughts:

The backlash just continued to build as days went by… with only a smattering of support here and there:

Then, on Wednesday night, Lemon finally responded.

“Earlier this week, I made some comments about that in a conversation with Chris,” he explained. “I said that the biggest terror threat in this country comes from radicals on the far right, primarily white men. That angered some people. But let’s put emotion aside and look at the cold hard facts. The evidence is overwhelming.”

He cited, among other data points, a recent report from the Government Accountability Office showing that, since the 9/11 attacks in 2001, far-right violent extremists have killed 106 people in 62 attacks across the country, while radical Islamist extremists have killed 119 people in 23 attacks.

“So people who were angered about what I said are missing the entire point,” Lemon said. “We don’t need to worry about people who are thousands of miles away. The biggest threats are homegrown. The facts prove that.”

  1. CNN is Racist
And this stooge still has his job

So, all you white folks , the next time you make a possibly racist remark
Here’s your proof of how tilted the table is

  2. Just how do you get a job like this that pays you millions a year to be a Racist pig and get away with it. . Dam every day I shake my head at the stupid shit that comes out of Racist men like this mouth and there never called out on it

  3. He will only change his mind when his joo massa tell him too.

Until then, he will stay with the divisive race-baiting script he has been given. If and when he DOES change his tune, it will ALSO be when he is told by his joo massas to do so.

If so, it will be so the joo can shine like a beacon of magnanimous tolerance and benevolence.

Just like the scripts that maury and jerry write, and then bring “peaceful resolution”, despite them having orchestrated the setup in the first place.

But I don’t believe that’s how they really want it to go. They want a civil/race war, NOT a revolution, so divide and conquer is the current plan.

  4. Don Lemon is a f*cking retard and his network is garbage. If a white entertainer (I mean, Serious Journalist) said this about blacks , he’d be fired before the show was over. Proof of bias, and proof the guy is a pampered asshole.
