Did the Boston PD lie about the “hour-long firefight” with Boston terror suspect?

It was absurd that a city of millions shutdown, and a cowardly people surrendered their basic rights and human dignity, because of the threat of one young terrorist.

Now it seems that the same thuggish Boston Police Department that ran roughshod over the rights of it’s law abiding citizens, forcing them from their homes at gun point and aiming machine guns at people who dared film their abuse, has been caught blatantly lying about the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev:

Two unnamed U.S. officials have told the Associated Press that the surviving suspect in the Boston bombings was unarmed when police captured him hiding inside a boat in a neighborhood back yard.

The report contradicts the Boston police department’s own account of Dzhokar Tsarnaev’s capture on Friday – after commissioner Ed Davies described a firefight between him and officers before the terror suspect was captured.

The New York Times also said an M4 rifle had been found on the boat – another claim contradicted by the latest revelations.

Officers had originally said they had exchanged gunfire with Tsarnaev for more than one hour Friday evening before they were able to subdue him.

But on Wednesday, the law enforcement officials told the AP that no gun was found aboard the vessel.

It now appears that the only firearm carried by either brother was the Ruger pistol used by Tamerlan and recovered with his body the previous night, along with their cache of homemade bombs.

Dzhokar Tsarnaev was unarmed as Boston cowered in fear from him, and an over-militarized and under-trained police department felt compelled to lie to cover up their heavy-handed tactics and inept weapons discipline.

Pathetic.

  1. I’m willing to bet that these kids didn’t have a Ruger pistol or homemade bombs.

“Did the Boston PD lie about the “hour-long firefight” with Boston terror suspect?” …..No.. not those pillars or virtue. They would never tell a lie.

Did the Boston PD ever tell the truth about anything? He (the author) raises the possibility that they lied as if they had a reputation for honesty.
This is like asking if the Zionist news may have lied, when it’s all they do.

  2. These days lying by ALL branches of the government is not only common, it’s practiced daily. The one ray of sunshine in story’s like this one is that there are people within the ranks of these branches who are compelled to let the truth be known. I give a HUGE salute to these fine folks, knowing that there are more and more of them who are fed up with these lies and “feel the need” to expose this corruption. These people are the TRUE “truthers”.
Expect more damning revelations in the very near future.

  3. Bob Owens, you need to learn to use the word “alleged,” as in one young alleged terrorist and alleged cache of homemade bombs. Please.

  4. A couple of days ago, the SWAT team was on the CBS Morning Show TALKING about the “firefight”! I hate liars.

  5. The SWAT team claimed they feared that Dzhokhar not only had firearms but indeed explosive devices in the boat with him. They purported concern about another explosion. They fired numerous bullets into the boat blindly as well as flash bang grenades. Would any reasonable person fire a gun or incendiary device into an enclosed vehicle they felt had a reasonable expectation of containing bombs? Obviously not. They knew he had no bombs. It stands to reason they knew he had no gun.

Watch how the cops around Commander Campbell react when he goes off the script and tells Andy Cooper he saw a little cut instead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on young Dzhokhar’s throat. Yet another lie upon fabrication in our escalating descent into tyranny. Amazing times.
