First Amendment Terrorist: Pentagon Says Protests Are Acts of “Low Level Terrorism”

The Daily Sheeple – by M. Frank Drover

Watch how this works.

First, the government responds to the September 11th attack by passing the Patriot Act, which is purportedly designed to protect us from foreign terrorists. Most of America cheers it on, never realizing that within the act is a broad definition for something categorized as domestic terrorism, or “activities that appear to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, or to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion.”

Second, they pass the National Defense Authorization Act, which allows them, under the definitions for domestic terrorism set forth by the Patriot Act, to detain someone without trial and forever if they appear to be subverting the newly established status quo.

Third, they declare all federal property, or property being used for political events where Secret Service protection is present, as “events of national significance” through the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act. Undesirable demonstrators operating counter to the official narrative in these areas are herded into court approved free speech zones.

Finally, once the new laws are in place, the government security apparatus begins the re-education of its minions by labeling as “terrorists” anyone who dares speak out or disagrees with their new policy initiatives.

This last step is and has been happening for some time.

Even the very act of assembling with other like minded people to influence policy by petitioning the Government for a redress of grievances can land you on the domestic terrorism list:

A written exam administered by the Pentagon labels “protests” as a form of “low-level terrorism” — enraging civil liberties advocates and activist groups who say it shows blatant disregard of the First Amendment.

The written exam, given as part of Department of Defense employees’ routine training, includes a multiple-choice question that asks:

“Which of the following is an example of low-level terrorism?”

– Attacking the Pentagon

– IEDs

– Hate crimes against racial groups

– Protests

The correct answer, according to the exam, is “Protests.”

“Its part of a pattern of equating dissent and protest with terrorism,” said Ann Brick, an attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union, which obtained a copy of the question after a Defense Department employee who was taking the test printed the screen on his or her computer terminal.

“It undermines the core constitutional values the Department of Defense is supposed to be defending,” Brick said, referring to the First Amendment right to peaceably assemble.

“That’s illegal,” said George Martin, national co-chairman of United for Peace and Justice. “Protest in terms of legal dissent has to be recognized, especially by the authorities.

“It’s not terrorism or a lack of patriotism. We care enough to be active in our government.”

“It’s the kind of thing that happens when you have large security bureaucracies, which is why they need to be kept in check,” Friedman said. “These things tend to occur in times of panic, like after Sept. 11.

After many years of a slow but steady erosion of our right to speak freely, to assemble peaceably, to bear arms, to be safe and secure in our persons, and to be given due process in a court of law, we begin to see the sinister end game emerge.

Our entire system of government, the one established by our Founding Fathers, is being systematically dismantled.

  1. Wouldn’t you know ? The U S Pentagon should know what terrorism is as the U S Military has murdered innocent women and children globally, why not kill the American people as well. Should the American People all lay down and die for the DOD’s pleasure ? I and others DO NOT intend to make it easy for this criminal Obama regime to ultimately destroy the United States . I will combat the Obama regime to the deepest depths of hell and beyond .

    1. You still don’t get it. It’s NOT the Obama administration. It’s not the Bush administration. The whole system at that level is rigged against us. Pull your head out of your ass and start understanding blue vs. red is nothing but playing loyal opposition to each other at the top level while the rest of us pay the same price no matter who is in charge.

  2. My Fellow Patriots:

The US Fed Gov’t and all its criminal agencies ARE the terrorists.

    Any questions?,… No?,…. Good.

Then we all agree on what needs to be done next, only the method is up for debate.

JD – US Marines – Time to abolish the largest, most murderous and perfidous terrorist organization in human history,.. the US Fed Gov’t,.. and it’s owner – the International Banksters and their CEO,.. the Rothchilds.

    1. I’d include the over bloated U.S. Military.
“Over grown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty.” George Washington

      Or “War is a Racket.”

  3. Paraphrasing Mcchrystal, “We have shot an amazing number of people. As far as I know none were a threat.”

Are those shootings acts of terrorism?

  4. Robert writes: “I’d include the over bloated U.S. Military.”

    Amen to that, brother!

Public Enemy Number One is the Pentagon.

It is time for us to stop romanticizing Militarism in general, and, more to the point, the U. S.military, the must murderous organization in human History.

It isn’t “the Banksters” that have encrypted our history; it isn’t “the Zionists” that have encoded our Science. (since 1971, the Pentagon has confiscated 7,000+ patents).

Family and friends are worth fighting for, avaracious elites are not.

It is time for use to grow up!

    Cheers,

    JQP

“I refuse to kill your father. I refuse to slay your mother’s son. I refuse to plunge a bayonet into the breast of your sister’s brother. I refuse to slaughter your sweetheart’s lover. I refuse to murder your wife’s husband. I refuse to butcher your little child’s father. I refuse to wet the earth with blood and blind kind eyes with tears. I refuse to assassinate you and then hide my stained fists in the folds of any flag.” — George E. Kirkpatrick (1910 )

“Conceit, arrogance and egotism are the essentials of patriotism…. Patriotism assumes that our globe is divided into little spots, each one surrounded by an iron gate. Those who had the fortune of being born on some particular spot, consider themselves better, nobler, grander, more intelligent than the living beings inhabiting any other spot. It is, therefore, the duty of everyone living on that chosen spot to fight, kill, and die in the attempt to impose his superiority upon all others.”– Emma Goldman, American anarchist and feminist, 1869–1940

  5. We are certainly now in a situation where we have an everlasting war against an invisible enemy, an insidious, malicious enemy, a foul malignancy in society, identifiable *only* by their thoughts…

… Now where have I heard *that* before?…

… To question Big Brother is oldthink…

    … Oldthink is thoughtcrime …

… It’s the joycamp pretty speedwise for the thoughtcriminal who’d think of questioning BB

    War is Peace

    The constitution is terrorism

We have always been at war with Eastasia…

… Now move along citizen, there is nothing to see here

  6. You have no right to speak freely? Are you kidding me? Maybe on your own property….OK…but a cop can and will limit your free speech on “probable” cause ON your property. As is said, “stop paying your property and other taxes and see who owns the house/property!!

Has anyone watch the lifeless demonstration put on by activist americans in the past few years? They are herded like cattle. They are treated like animals in a slaughterhouse. They are charged falsely. They are imprisoned under false pretenses. They are then forced to participate in the charade courts which treat them as commercial goods. And that’s the rosy picture….lol.

You have no rights. You think you do? Name one.

Do you see more laws against your freedom than for your freedoms?

As an american, i see the ignorant and uncaring public as terrorists. Most americans care not about the facts. They continue to accept the gospel from big industry and government. They are the backbone that blindly sanction the government’s activities of genocide, murder, kidnap, grand theft, fraud, treason under the oath of ignorance. We are all guilty of the ignorance and lack of courage that is necessary to stand against tyranny and fascism.

We are our own each enemy. We have allowed this to happen and it continues to happen unabated at our pleasure. There is only one way out of this paradigm and the falsely blissful mindset held by most americans of entitlement and special treatment.

Of course we are the terrorists. We fail to act dutifully to the U.S.A., Inc and thus we are derelict in our duty during a state of emergency and war. We fail to act dutifully in those things we cherished like life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. And, most importantly, we fail to act dutifully to ourselves. What does that say about us? What would you call it? Who cares what you call it but just call it the truth.

  7. This coming from the same government that handed assault weapons to latin american drug cartels/gangs? Remember, Pentagon. When you point your finger, 4 are pointing right back at you.

  8. Agree with jd. He is right. Bankers are running shit. It’s why our military is in every country with vast natural resources. It’s not. A coincident. That means they own the Pentagon. We must b rid of the fed reserve if we are to have any hope. Money and governance does not mix . The greed y nature of a man will always surface and take precedence over the needs of we the. People. Corporations should b prohibited from. Going anywhere. Near. Congress through lobbyists. That shit should b illegal. No corporation should b allowed to contribute any money to any campaign for any government office. Citizens should b the only contributors. Period. Not monetary behemoths.

  9. Terrorism is a state tool to demonize or dehumanize a group of people to gain the support of the root populous to kill on a grand scale.
Terrorism is a warping of our moral fabric of what it means to be a free, just, and honorable society and at the same time it limits our own freedom and liberty in the name of self protection. Fighting terrorism is likened to a modern crusade where the goal is utter destruction of a foreign group of peoples whose ideals differ from our own. But you must remember that they are all human too, they love just like us, they love their families and their children, and by killing them, we kill a small part of ourselves.

“Don’t we deserve a time of peace and prosperity, where we don’t have to spend all of our public funds for defense of imaginary villains?” KDT

“The Pentagon produces no wealth, it is a black hole of unaccountability, a relic of old wars past with new enemies to justify itself with the expense of money and lives.” – KDT

  10. So what the so-called ‘government’ does must be considered “high level terrorism”, right?

And this is more acceptable than “low level terrorism”?

    What’s wrong with this picture?

  11. Obviously, significant leadership elements in the Pentagon have gone rogue and are criminally in a state of rebellion against the sovereign People of the United States. This criminal element may include the entire Joint Chiefs. We don’t know. But the possibility is alarming in the extreme. Like the Second Amendment, the right to protest is fundamental to a free society and defines who we are as a people. Without these rights, we are not free, we are not sovereign, we are not anything but slaves. Who and what foreign power does the Pentagon serve, if not the American People?

    1. United States has not been sovereign since the “Federal Reserve Act of 1913”. No government can be sovereign and serve the people if it allows private interests to issue the currency. The banks are the top decision makers of our government. Government is just middle management to keep the people in line and paying taxes/interest/levy/fee/duty to the central banks and by extension, its minion banks. We are slaves caught in a dream of being free.
