Jason DeJesus And Chanelle Troedson Kidnap Handyman, Force Repairs At California Mansion

Huffington Post – by Robin Wilkey

Negotiating household repairs can be tough business. But for this California couple, kidnapping a handyman was one way to do it.

According to CBS, Jason DeJesus and Chanelle Troedson were arrested after allegedly kidnapping a handyman at gunpoint, beating him and forcing him to make repairs at their sprawling Morgan Hill home.

“[The handyman] was assaulted, he was threatened with his life, and he was forced to do some work at the house,” said Sgt. Jose Cardoza of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office to CBS. “The victim was pretty terrified.”

According to Gawker, the man spent up to seven hours fixing the dishwasher, repairing a broken door and performing other tasks at the couple’s five-bedroom home that includes a beach volleyball court, a pool and tennis courts.

The couple then forced the man to drive to another home to make more repairs, but not before stopping at a Chevron station to pick up gas and snacks. Once left alone in the vehicle, the man ran to a neighboring home and called 911.

“A blond haired gentleman came to my door, knocking on the door frantically, asking if he could use my phone,” the neighbor told ABC. “He said that he had been kidnapped and beaten, and I could visibly see that he had some injuries.”

Police arrived and arrested DeJesus and and Troedson as they exited the Chevron station.

According to CBS, the abduction was not random: the same handyman had performed work at the home of DeJesus’ mother and had gotten into a dispute over payment two months before.

DeJesus and Troedson face felony charges including kidnapping, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats and conspiracy.

Bit soon to tell, but could be a case of master beating his serf or a repairman not doing the job he was paid to do. Either way, the justification of doing a beat down & kidnapping isn’t there. My gut tells me it’s a couple of snobbish elitist showing their true psychopathic colors & what dirty SOB’s they really are. Reminds me of how O-bummer is out of touch with reality. IMO.

A different article, from the San Diego paper, said that the prior dispute was over the couple short-changing him. They only paid for half the work he did on their relative’s house. (I chose to send in this article because it went into more detail about who the relative was, what they did to him/made him do, and how he got away.)

Thanks, Angel. I’ll dig up the SD article. If that’s the case, then it is flogging & stealing from the serf.

,, and mention it in their versions of the story, too. Sorry I can’t remember the name of the SD paper, and I didn’t run across it when I just did a quick search.

It’s always been my opinion that most of your major nut cases come from one extreme or the other – East Coast or West Coast, or more specifically L.A. or N.Y.C (no offense, Angel, but I’m in that boat too). 🙂

I’ve seen far too much evidence confirming that suspicion.
