93, sun, breezy we need rain
We do get “scattered showers” here in dry-during-June far west Texas, and I am concerned about the serious drought in North Dakota, which is unusual from my view. It’s expected by ranchers here to have drought in June and not much rain until August, but what’s happening in North Dakota is alarming. Y’all probably need rain even more than we do!
Now it’s the drought. Last October (harvest) it was a blizzard which caused the partial loss of some crops like potatoes. This Spring our local store did not carry seed potatoes neither did the grocery store in the next town over. This is the first time since I have been here (11 years) that I was not able to get seed potatoes from our local store. So I planted some reds I got from a five pound bag. They’re doing great
