I sat, as did millions of other Americans, and watched as the government underwent a peaceful transition of power a few short years ago..
At first, I felt a swell of pride and patriotism while Barack Obama took his Oath of Office.
However, all that pride quickly vanished as I later watched 21 Marines, in full dress uniform with rifles, fire a 21-gun salute to the President.
It was then that I realized how far America’s military had deteriorated.
Every one of them missed the bastard.

The military isn’t going to liberate this country. We’re talking about people who take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, then proceed to take orders from the same people who continue to shred the Constitution into tinier pieces of confetti every minute of every day.
When in our history has the military ever taken the side of the People (even verbally) in a dispute with any element of government in the US? Yet I can think of numerous incidents in which “our” troops threatened or killed Americans. (This is to say nothing of the military’s willingness to engage in overseas aggression, which by itself is proof of moral bankruptcy.)
