Trump criticizes California governor on troops at border

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is criticizing the California governor for rejecting proposed border duties for the National Guard. The Trump administration said Monday that Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown rejected terms of the guard’s initial deployment to the Mexican border; a state official said nothing was decided.

Trump wants thousands of guard troops to help with immigration enforcement until his promised U.S.-Mexico border wall is built. The Republican president claimed Tuesday that crime in California will worsen because of Brown’s actions.

Trump tweeted: “Looks like Jerry Brown and California are not looking for safety and security along their very porous Border. He cannot come to terms for the National Guard to patrol and protect the Border. The high crime rate will only get higher. Much wanted Wall in San Diego already started!”

  1. Yup, I hear a rumor going round the California governor and cronies are drafting back door legislation whereby they intend to open the flood gates of mass migration to that state and that they are fine tuning the bill in such a way that the great citizens there will see sales tax increase on everything except luxury items, to provide ample financial support for these poor little illegal immigrants. Word on the street is that they think there is a way to stick it to the citizens there under the ruse of the guest workers will no longer be a drain on the welfare system, all the while they have figured how to skim the top of the funds. Serves the idiots right in California, they love them, so they can pay for them. HA, HA
    Now that’s some good stuff.
