The UN Resolution Against Israel And The Truth Of The Nation

World Events and the Bible

Israel has temporarily suspended “working” ties with the 12 nations who voted in favor of a resolution condemning Israel for building on Palestinian land. Of course this “suspension” really has no bite, just as the United Nations Resolution has no bite.

However, what many do not realize is Israel continually has no regard for their neighbors. Israel has demolished thousands of Palestinian homes and other settlements in order to clear the land so Israel can build settlements on land that is not theirs. This illegal and devastating action by Israel was recently at a five year high and many do not realize that Israel has an economic blockade against Gaza that has been in effect since 2007. The truth be told this aggression by Israel has been taking place since the onset of World War II.

When in reality, it is the United Nations who helped establish the nation known as Israel today and it is Israel who constantly violates that agreement.

I find it interesting that Israel temporarily suspended diplomatic ties with; Britain, France, Russia, China, Japan, Ukraine, Angola, Egypt, Uruguay, Spain, Senegal and New Zealand who voted for this resolution. Yet, they did not suspend any ties with the United States who abstained from voting.

Netanyahu was quick to say; “According to our information, we have no doubt the Obama administration initiated it (the resolution), stood behind it, coordinated the wording, and demanded it be passed.

Maybe that is true, but it is also true the obama administration negotiated a new record aid package for Israel in September to the tune of $3.8 billion dollars a year, up from the previous $3 billion a year deal.

Christians the world over are extremely upset with this resolution as they feel it is the world turning their back on Israel who they believe to be God’s Chosen People. I have to ask those Christians, where in the Bible does it say that?

Nowhere in God’s Word does it say a people who do not follow Christ are His Chosen People, quite the contrary actually (John 10:24-28).

Our Father’s Chosen People are the Twelve Tribes of Israel who He scattered due to their sins. The Twelve Tribes of Israel were never combined into one Tribe called Judah though many Christians believe that to be true.

So what does scripture tell us? In the book of Genesis we learn that our Father made an everlasting covenant with Abraham, that his children would become a very blessed people; large in number and they would go on to become many nations (Genesis 17:5-7). Turn your Bible with me to,

Genesis 22:17
17 “That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;”

Abraham would father Isaac who would father Jacob. It was Jacob whose name would change to Israel and his twelve sons would become the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Our Father’s Everlasting Covenant with Abraham fell upon Jacob and his children. God said his children would be as numerous as the stars of heaven. The nation called Israel today does not fit that description, their population is very small. Neither does the nation called Israel today control “the gate of his enemies”. The United Nations resolution that just passed proves that in of itself. When you control the gate of your enemy it means you have control over them. Israel has very little control over their enemies and if it were not for the $3.8 billion dollars they receive annually from the United States they would be in serious trouble.

Genesis 22:18
18 “And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

The nation called Israel today does not bless the world. Obviously, it has been the United States blessing Israel with aid packages. However, the Christian nations of the world are blessed and they certainly do bless the world through various charitable causes around the globe.

In Genesis 17:5 our Father told Abraham “a father of many nations have I made thee.” The nation called Israel today is obviously a single nation. So through the scriptures we can see that the nation called Israel today certainly does not fit this everlasting covenant our Father made to Abraham.

God used the Twelve Tribes of Israel to be His Candle, to use them to share His Word with the world so it would be handed down from one generation to the next, it is the great commissioning we have been given.

Matthew 28:19-20
19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”

20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

The nation called Israel is overwhelmingly against our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so they certainly cannot be God’s Chosen People if they are not doing His Work. Rather through the scriptures we know that Abraham’s children were to be ‘as numerous as the stars of heaven and become many nations,’ they were to “possess the gate of his enemies” and ‘the nations of the earth were to be blessed’ by them. We do not see this through the nation called Israel, but we do see this through the Christian nations of the world.

Before we take something into our mind as truth, let us be certain we can document that it is factual whether it be a truth of the world or a truth of God’s Word. Ensure you take the time to document the information you are presented with on your daily walk through life so we can root out the lies and confusion that plague the world and set the record straight.

  1. “Christians the world over are extremely upset with this resolution as they feel it is the world turning their back on Israel who they believe to be God’s Chosen People.”

    THANKS TO THEIR CORRUPTED ‘LEADERS’.

AND the fact that they’re too stupid to read the Bible for themselves!

“Nowhere in God’s Word does it say a people who do not follow Christ are His Chosen People,…”

    TRUTH!
