CLAREMORE — The hunt for “Sasquatch” in a section of woods in Rogers County sent one man to the hospital and three people to jail after what they told deputies was an “accidental shooting” Saturday night.
Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton said the sheriff’s office received word of the shooting about 10 p.m., but preliminary investigation revealed conflicting stories. Walton said investigators are still sifting through information, but the group first told them they had been shot at out in the woods. An Arizona Highway Patrol officer stops a Harley for traveling faster than the posted speed limit, so he asks the biker his name. ‘Fred,’ he replies.
‘Fr…ed what?’ the officer asks.
‘Just Fred,’ the man responds.
The officer is in a good mood, thinks he might just give the biker a break, and write him out a warning instead of a ticket. The officer then presses him for the last name. Continue reading “I am just Fred”

After reports of two loaded guns making it past airport screeners and on to passenger flights this week, one congressman says “hundreds” of prohibited items get past screeners every day, a situation he calls “intolerable.”
In one of the incidents last week, Transportation Security Administration screeners allowed a New Orleans Hornets executive to board a plane from New Orleans to Newark, N.J., with a loaded handgun in his baggage. Continue reading “Flashback: TSA Lets Loaded Guns Past Security, on to Planes”
The liberal press has wasted precious little time demonizing the Second Amendment in the wake of the shooting by an off-duty TSA worker at LAX.

Mark Levin played a segment from Jake Tapper’s show on how the Obama administration is putting intense pressure on the health care insurance CEO’s to keep quiet about the problems with Obamacare. Levin said this report should be everywhere because this is the kind of thing that happens in banana republics and communist and fascist regimes. The South Carolina state House passed a bill Wednesday that declares President Obama’s Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to be “null and void,” and criminalizes its implementation.
The state’s Freedom of Health Care Protection Act intends to “prohibit certain individuals from enforcing or attempting to enforce such unconstitutional laws; and to establish criminal penalties and civil liability for violating this article.” Continue reading “South Carolina House passes bill making ‘Obamacare’ implementation a crime”

RESTON, VA – In a bombshell report for NBC News.com, NBC News senior investigative correspondent Lisa Myers found buried in the 2010 Obamacare regulations language predicting, “A reasonable range for the percentage of individual policies that would terminate is forty percent to sixty-seven percent.” Myers’ reporting shows that Barack Obama knowingly lied to the American people for more than three years when he regularly insisted that those who like their current health insurance would be able to keep it under Obamacare.
Yet, according to an analysis from the Media Research Center, this massive, deliberate breach of trust was worthy of only 21 seconds of coverage on NBC Nightly News, buried at the end of the show’s fourth story, with no follow up on Today. ABC and CBS completely censored Lisa Myers’ discovery with not one single second of coverage on either their morning or evening programs. Continue reading “NBC Buries Own Reporter To Hide Obama Lie”
CNN recently took a wrong turn while reporting on a giant hornet outbreak in China by putting Hong Kong on the map — in South America.
By the looks of things, someone at the network seemed to think that the vibrant Asian city was in or near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Continue reading “CNN report on giant hornets puts Hong Kong in South America”
Right off the bat, I will credit Gary North for putting words together that crystalized this idea in my head.
The rollout of Obamacare is a bomb (O-bomb-a has a new meaning, it appears).
President Barack Obama sought on Monday to limit political damage from the problematic launch of the government website for his signature healthcare law… Continue reading “Hooray for ObamaCare!”

MOSCOW (The Borowitz Report)—The N.S.A. leaker Edward Snowden today reached out to the United States government, offering to fix its troubled healthcare.gov Web site in exchange for immunity from prosecution.
Speaking from an undisclosed location in Russia, Mr. Snowden said he hacked the Web site over the weekend and thinks he is “pretty sure what the problem is.” Continue reading “Snowden Offers to Fix Healthcare.gov”
