Biden In Europe: America Today Is ‘An Embarrassment’

Grabie News – by Tom Elliot

Former Vice President Joe Biden told a European audience Saturday that America under the current administration is “an embarrassment.”

President Obama’s vice president focused his criticism on the United State’s family detention policy, global warming policy, and the Trump Administration’s stricter limits on political refugees.

The comments came at the Munich Security Conference, where the former vice president strove to draw a contrast between his strong affinity for the NATO alliance and President Trump’s more imposing approach on the decades old multinational defense pact.

While Biden never mentioned President Trump by name, he made several clear references to the current commander in chief.

Here’s an excerpt from his remarks:

“The America I see values basic human decency, not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border. Americans know that’s not right. The American people understand plainly that this makes us an embarrassment. The American people know, overwhelmingly that it is not right. That it is not who we are.”

Despite attacking the Trump administration for family separations at the border, this policy was active during the Obama Administration as well.

Biden’s complete remarks are available here.

How dutifully he plays his role. And how come he’s not dethroned for what he said? Remember what happened to The Dixie Chicks when Natalie spewed anti-Bush rhetoric? Dead in the water. But Perv Biden will go on being the highly paid charmer, ever continuing to hypnotize the ignorant.

    • DL. says:

Yep, Dixie Chicks…before they made it big in country music, we actually met them–they bought a jar of honey at a Fourth of July festival in the early 90s. They were courageous to say what they said considering you simply cannot get away with being in country music and anti-war at the same time…one reason i can’t stand country music (except for bluegrass).

      • galen says:

I loved The Dixie Chicks. Glad you got to meet them. Tragedy how they were blacklisted and erased!! And I love country music, not all, but most of it. Some is so much the story of the people, real people. It’s just one more thing that’s been stolen from us: bad boy lyrics that say whatever the hell they want. Too bad the industry gave way to censorship/control/oppression, like most other money-making enterprises. Article 1 stomped on. (sad face)

But imagine what it will be like when we get all that fixed? There will be swear words and crass criticisms. There are still a few renegades out there; independents, sellin’ their cd’s at their shows, scramblin’ to get by, but they’re singin’ what they want.

Aside: Write a treatise on the importance of swear words, and how they can really get your point across when no other words will work.

Aside again: Funny how Joe Biden led to the Dixie Chicks. Must be that good wins over evil.

On March 10, 2003, during a London concert, nine days before the 2003 invasion of Iraq, lead vocalist Maines told the audience: “We don’t want this war, this violence, and we’re ashamed that the President of the United States (George W. Bush) is from Texas,” which garnered a positive reaction from the British audience contrasting with the negative reaction, and ensuing boycotts, in the United States, where talk shows denounced the band, their albums were discarded in public protest, and corporate broadcasting networks blacklisted them for the remainder of the Bush years.”

In the vid he is reading, looking down to consult the script. How pitiful that he can’t think for himself in the moment.

He talks about America’s “basic human decency.” Yeah, sure, for all invaders, but not for American Nationals who are struggling, sick, homeless, addicted, disenchanted, exploited, ignored, disenfranchised.

His goal is to have the “the moral authority to lead abroad.” Ha! And he says this to an European audience. Imagine sitting there and hearing that?!!

  5. Mark Schumacher in LV says:

This son of a bitch lives like a king off American National sweat. The real embarrassment is that we let him do it. A fkg pervert, harasser of women and a sexual predator who has gotten away with sexual harassment for 40 years, truly an embarrassment to any American National. The SOB amazingly gets a chubby standing behind Hillary. Good God……

  6. # 1 NWO Hatr says:

“The America I see values basic human decency, not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border.”

    “Americans know that’s not right.”

    Damn straight, jewb#tch scumbag.

We should be dropping the POS invaders dead in their tracks the minute they set foot across our border.

“The American people understand plainly that this makes us an embarrassment.”

You wish, f%&kface… the REAL embarrassment is having commie jewb#tch @ssclowns like you & Chump running (ruining) this country.

THAT’S what the rest of the world (at least the decent folks in it) is thoroughly disgusted with.

    Tick, tock, b#tch.

  7. galen says:

Could be we’ll soon start seeing signs for the 2020 presidential campaign saying:

Tired of HOPE and CHANGE? How about WEIRD and STRANGE!!?

Ha!! And there will be grand debates with Michelle, and Tulsi, and Ocasio, and Schultz, and Bernie, and… any other high-paid puppet who is richly rewarded just to run and grin, and lose or win. But it’s always a win for them, ALWAYS.

Money, it don’t move mountains, but it moves Meatheads. Ha! I said that.
