California governor signs bill eliminating personal vaccine exemptions

Ars Technica – by Cyrus Farivar

On Tuesday, California Governor Jerry Brown (D) signed into law one of the most stringent vaccination laws in the United States, eliminating the state’s previous personal and religious belief exemption for vaccines.

Under the new law, which takes effect January 1, 2016, all California schoolchildren must prove that they have been vaccinated in order to attend school. They can only be exempted when that child’s physician explicitly approves it.

“The science is clear that vaccines dramatically protect children against a number of infectious and dangerous diseases,” Brown wrote in a signing statement. “While it’s true that no medical intervention is without risk, the evidence shows that immunization powerfully benefits and protects the community.”

Children who are homeschooled do not have to be vaccinated.

In April 2015, when the bill passed a senate committee, one of the bill’s authors, himself a pediatrician, lauded the move.

“Vaccines are one of our greatest medical advancements, and to protect the health of our students and our greater community, this bill is urgently needed to boost vaccination rates,” Dr. Richard Pan, a state senator representing Sacramento, said in a statement. “This measure will ensure that students whose parents choose to not vaccinate them have several educational options that don’t put other children at risk of contracting vaccine-preventable diseases.”

  1. Being that I live in Crapifornia, let it be known: Governor Jerry ” Moonbeam ” Brown has just declared himself a maimer and murderer of innocent children. I am ashamed to be in this now shit hole of a criminal, corrupt, and perverted state. NOTE: Not all which live here are as demented and sick. My sentiment is that it’s an embarrassing place to be. His father, Edmond G. ” Pat ” Brown, is the one who sold out Northern California’s water to LA. Like father, like son . . . . .

  2. “They can only be exempted when that child’s physician explicitly approves it.”

This means that rich kids, and “the chosen” don’t have to get vaccinated. Everyone else gets their dose of poison.

    1. -Spot on, J/R!
(don’t forget all those ‘connected’ types, such as freemasons, ‘insiders’ aka ‘boot-licking gov’t “workers”‘, and maranos)

  3. “Children who are homeschooled do not have to be vaccinated.”

    No-brainer.

The one time I voted in a state election (only voted twice in my life) was to recall Gray Davis.

Damn sure didn’t vote for Ahnold, either.

      1. At the very least the gov’t. became illigitimate in 1913 with the Federal Reserve Act, and the predecessor of the IRS. -All that follows should be null and void.-

  4. “, this bill is urgently needed to boost vaccination rates,” Dr. Richard Pan, a state senator representing ” -representing the pharma corps that’s lining his pockets with gold spun from the tears of autistic and medically maimed children, lives ruined becuse of a bottom line. Disgusting. Treasonous…

    1. 10,000 to 1 odd’s the M-F’er skates like the rest of the criminal killers. Rumsfeld and Cheney are still free, and Brown is way low on the pole . . .

  5. Homeschool, yes, but when the kids go to college in California will they be exempted from forced vaccinations?

Another good reason to give birth at home using midwives, then not getting vaccines, and homeschooling–that way, you aren’t forced to get your child a Social Security Number (since all children born in hospitals must get SSNs…thanks to George H.W. “New World Order” Bush!)…your child will get his or her SSN when that child is good and ready to get one…or not.

  6. Anyone putting their kids in those places already displays reduced cognitive function. What more harm can a vaccine do?

Easy out is dont participate in their cash for papered up dummies scam. “I gots me a diploma and now im entitled to collage and 15/hr to mop and sling fries with that”
