Having arrived in Odesa McCain said that the US will continue to help Ukraine. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of Ukraine’s fight against corruption.
“I intend to discuss many issues with president and prime minister, but it is our view that there is still work done on the issue of corruption,” he said, according to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
McCain once again said that Russia is “a gas station masquerading as a country” and called Russian President Vladimir Putin “a bully and a thug.”
