Finally … a celebrity who thinks the way we do!
After the all of the glamorous celebrities seriously gazing into the camera “demanding a plan” for gun control, it’s a refreshing change when a 5 time Grammy nominee has no problem letting the world know that he is a personal supporter of the 2nd amendment through his very lifestyle.
The Michigan home of Kid Rock, the cross-genre rap-country-rock rebel who has sold over 24 million albums, was the target of a break-in. Kid Rock (whose real name is Robert Ritchie) posted the security footage on his website.
But even better was his accompanying statement.
Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break in. I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives. I take the invasion of my personal space very seriously regardless of who you are…
He continued, offering a reward for tips leading to the arrest of the “jackass” driving the “white creeper van”.
According to a CNN report, police have the man in custody after tips led to his arrest.
The 43-year-old suspect, whose name was not released, used his Ford van to force open the property gate July 31, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said. Security cameras caught him ramming the van through the gate and attempting to break into a building on the property.
After all of the celebrity boycott lists that were compiled after Hollywood came out in adamant support of gun control, here is an artist whose work we can put on our “to buy” list.
