  1. FarmerDave says:

Ah, made to look like a modular home to escape the zoning board.

  3. Enemy of the State says:

Got me a RV Trailer like that ..great Idea man

  4. SNAFU (really Hal Apeeno) says:

    Carry on, brother.
I see a Blue Rino tank.
Here the cheapest place for LP is Tractor Supply Co. @ 2.49 per. gal. x approx. 4.2 gal. per 20lb tank = approx. 10.45 cost per.
Keep an eye on the Chinese Factory Outlet though (Walmart). In the past, they offered a 10.00 gift card with every tank purchased.
I haven’t seen that in a year +, but I keep an eye out.

I was contemplating putting that front window in.

But I thought it would be a little more contemporary in a modern art fashion

    Little do people know. …

My goals are to build a brothel. .. gas station and weed dispensary all off of exit 271.

    How’s that for Capitalism …?

  6. Mark Schumacher in LV says:

    Very nice flee,

Awesome, really nice area, lots of hills it looks like, awesome for dirt bikes and 4 wheelers.

  7. Jstp (Joe) says:

I see you already have the hoe, better keep her greased up!

  8. galen says:

Like staking a claim, and lovely, too.

  9. M & M says:

We started the same last year. 5th Wheel on side of mountain. Never coming off the Mountain. Slowly but surely. Water system in Place Rain water & Spring. Power systems in place 2 diesel Generator’s and 1 Honda 3000EU. Fuel storage in place 1000K diesel, 300 Gas. Solar system there but not up and working yet. Freedom is the word.

  10. Ed Teach says:

    Off grid?
As in you have no government papers or IDs?
Or offgrid as you grew, fell, and milled the 2x4s and siding?
Or off grid like you still have internet?

    I’m confused.

    • Katie says:

Off grid, as in he has no indoor plumbing.

    • galen says:

I sense a taking aim at a noble effort. Why?

    • SNAFU (really Hal Apeeno) says:

      “I’m confused.”

      Don’t be!
Mr. flee is making the best out of what’s available/affordable.
He’s stepping out from centralized BS, and producing his own.
      I do the same.
The big issue we face is scraping the crud off our country that you call “government”. To do this WE need our American people. WE have to work together (Gung-ho: which means ‘work together’).
I have a large amount of respect for those with the gonads to attempt what most will not.

    • flee says:

      I take no offense.

But what I do have is a baseline for my effort.

I can say reasonably that if they turn off the power tomorrow.

I’ll probably survive longer than you.

So if you have any questions about my survivability..,persitance or just plain luck.

Go outside and turn the grid power off of your house and then update us after a week and let people know that you can walk in my shoes.
