Pete Buttigieg Nods as Pastor Says Mexican Illegal Aliens Just Reclaiming Stolen Land

Breitbart – by Charlie Spiering

Mayor Pete Buttigieg on Sunday listened and nodded without disputing a claim from Pastor William Barber that illegal immigrants from Mexico were merely reclaiming land from the United States.

“We call people illegal aliens … Why can’t we just own in America that some of the people that are trying to come from Mexico here are coming back to land we stole?” he asked. “And the reason we took the land is because people wanted to keep their slaves?”

Some in the congregation applauded.

Barber recounted that President Abraham Lincoln was against the Mexican American War that resulted in the United States ending up with more territory.

Barber urged Buttigieg, as a presidential candidate, to give more speeches about the “lies” of history that kept Americans divided.

The moment caught the attention of the Republican National Committee’s Rapid Response Director Steve Guest, who shared the video on Twitter.

Buttigieg attended the Sunday service and conversation in Goldsboro, North Carolina, which lasted two hours, as he continues to try to appeal to black voters. The mayor wore a suit jacket to the service and even brought his own Bible, a campaign staffer confirmed to the Associated Press. Barber is a partisan leftist who has repeatedly condemned President Donald Trump as racist.

“There is no question that the president of this country is racist,” Barber wrote in an article published last week at Medium.

During the conversation, Buttigieg argued that “systemic racism” and “racial voter suppression” were problematic to the concept of a united democracy in America.

“For my dime, I actually consider the electoral college itself to be an example of this problem because it affected anybody who had to live under a presidency that came about because the American people were overruled,” he added. “And we’re living under one right now, which means everybody is experiencing the consequences of that distortion in our democracy.”

    Typo:

“The mayor wore a suit jacket to the service and even brought his own Talmud, a campaign staffer confirmed to the Associated Press.”

    Retarded moron.

According to the ‘infinitely malleable words’ being used these days… EVERYONE’S CONSIDERED RACIST (YOU INCLUDED!)… SO F$&K OFF, @SSWIPE!!!!!

    • Enemy of the State says:

I’m taking the power away from the word racist

      We’re all racist

      I’m racist and don’t give a Fck

      So ….. what now ?

      Yup
      No power

      • # 1 NWO Hatr says:

Being ‘politically incorrect’ my entire life, such words have never really offended me… I merely consider the source. Yes, I have claimed to NOT be racist in past comments, but it’s an auto defense mechanism that I should be less susceptible to these days.

More of the jews stirring shit up .. American’s didn’t steal jack shit from Mexico. Just like the Texans at the Alamo fought for their independence it was pretty much the same for California. As a matter of fact California was an even easier win and much less died in the Californian’s Independence.
There is more to the story and I will be putting out a video on this.

    • mary in ND again says:

      I’m looking forward to it

    • Henry Shivley says:

Steal: to take the property of another wrongfully and especially as a habitual or regular practice
Conquer: to gain or acquire by force of arms

To start with, the Mexican government, having as much European (Spanish) blood, as the Mexicans themselves conquered the land from the Indians who, tribe to tribe, conquered land from one another throughout the history of this continent.
A part of those Americans who CONQUERED what is now the southern United States were formerly Mexicans. The land was conquered through the spilling of blood. Those who are trying to sleaze it back are attempting to steal it without fighting a war.
The fact is the Mexicans were too weak and if we wanted to during the time of the Mexican American War, we could have CONQUERED the whole f-king continent.
So we have conquer and we have steal, and it is way past time to teach these third world peasants and this unlawful corporate occupation the difference, and emphasize it this time in such a way that they will never forget it again.
      Good morning, Eddy.

Ahhh, an angle I have not been focusing on. It gives much artillery to any discussion on who’s reclaiming what from whom.

I’m reading this as programming. Like, “Get used to it. It’s their land and they have a right to reclaim it.”

Years ago, at a farmers market in central Ca, a vendor was upset with me because I did not speak Spanish. Conveyed to me that most of Ca. would soon be speaking Spanish and said people were moving north all the time, so I better get used to it.

I resented it then and now, even more. Outraged, of course. Sometimes screamin’ inside, “Please somebody do something. Make it stop!!!!!!!!”

Life as I’ve known it, gone. Will do what I can. Will do what I can. What a frustrating day!
