Thomas Paine, Common Sense

Society in every state is a blessing, but government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer. – Thomas Paine, Common Sense, 1776

I say we give government 10% of our earnings in flat tax and that’s all they get to function on. That money is for our military mostly and bring them home and protect our borders. The amount of money printed or electronically given away will be strictly controlled by a citizens committee, not the FED and banksters. Federalize three or four banks and make them follow strict rules citizens have written up, not wall street cronies. Any banker CEO has a 2 million dollar limit on profit and income. Anything above that figure is returned to American citizens via a tax. Reduce the annual budgets of HLS, NSA, CIA, NED, and state dept by 85%. Bare bones and skeleton crew and have a bi annual inspection to insure they are not starting wars, spying on citizens, or pulling their black bag job…dirty little tricks. Have the states become WAY more powerful and pull the teeth of government. They should be there for home defense and building infrastructure. That’s all I have to say about that.

    Paine was a closet anarchist.
