On January 23rd, many Americans rejoiced as Donald Trump formally withdrew the United States from the TPP.

The only problem is, the TPP is about to get replaced with something even worse.

Quietly in the background, discussed in meetings even more secretive than those under which the TPP was negotiated, some 50 countries have been formulating the Trade in Services Agreement known as TiSA.   Continue reading “Think The TPP Is Gone? A U.S. federal judge on Monday denied a request by Native American tribes seeking to halt construction of the final link in the Dakota Access Pipeline, the controversial project that has sparked months of protests by activists aimed at stopping the 1,170-mile line.

At a hearing, Judge James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., rejected the request from the Standing Rock Sioux and Cheyenne River Sioux tribes, who argued that the project would prevent them from practicing religious ceremonies at a lake they contend is surrounded by sacred ground.   Continue reading “Judge denies tribes’ request to block final link in Dakota pipeline”

Los Angeles, CA — As the Free Thought Project has reported extensively, police officers, even when found at fault for their abusive actions, are almost never held personally liable. It is the taxpayers who foot the bill. However, a new trend in accountability seems to be on the rise, and will be massively more effective at curbing police brutality than any system in place right now.   Continue reading “Sheriff Must Pay $100K of Own His Money for Brutality Case or Head to Debtors Court”

A strange new phenomenon has been taking place on the beaches of Naples, Florida, where since February 7, beach goers have been astounded to find thousands of dead or dying bees along the shoreline.

A bee expert told NBC affiliate, WBBH-TV, that it is incredibly unusual to have bees washing up on the beach. He offered two possible reasons for the strange occurrence: 1) that the bees could have been affected by the nearby spraying of chemical pesticides, or 2) that an overhead swarm simply became exhausted and flew into the water.   Continue reading “Thousands of dead bees wash up on Florida beach”

Meanwhile, as of 10:11 am EST today, 818,172 people have joined in on a campaign to impeach Donald Trump… an unprecedented campaign which began right away on the day Trump was inaugurated.

While Trump supporters are bashing the movement as merely coming from a group of people who are doing it because they don’t like Trump and throwing a little temper tantrum like babies because they are mad that he won, the group’s reasoning at least on the surface appears to be a lot more complicated than that.   Continue reading “Almost a Million People Have Now Joined a Campaign to Impeach Trump, and You’ll Never Guess Why”
