A young Georgia police officer was shot and killed and a second critically injured while responding to a report of a domestic dispute on Wednesday near a university campus in the southwestern part of the state, officials said.

Russia said on Wednesday it would restrict the ability of U.S. diplomats based in Moscow to travel if a pending U.S. bill that would do the same to Russian diplomats in the United States entered into force.

GRAND RAPIDS — An FBI agent is in custody after police say he shot at a Grand Rapids officer outside a gym.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at Planet Fitness on 28th Street in Grand Rapids.

WZZM 13 found through Kent County court records that the 35-year-old suspect is an FBI agent in town from Las Vegas on business. Russian weapons manufacturers came in second in total annual revenues of the top 100 arms producing companies, bested only by the US, whose arms sales amounted to $209.7 billion in 2015, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.

Global arms sales reached $370.7 billion in 2015, SIRPI reported on Monday, after tabulating the revenues of weapons manufacturers from the US, Western Europe, Russia, and beyond.
