The fruit loop thinks we never needed a Bill of Rights because according to Alexander Hamilton, the Constitution already gives us these Rights and that as long as we follow the Constitution, then the Judicial branch can never use the Bill of Rights to misconstrue any interpretations. He’s basically saying the reverse of what the Bill of Rights was setup for in which it was set up to prevent the Federalists from taking our rights away and becoming a centralized authoritarian government like the one we have now.
So by his logic, the government is either always good and has our best interest at heart (completely naive thought) OR he believes that using the Constitution itself will help us get rid of or settle any gun control legislation or dispute, which as we have seen is simply not true and is exactly the opposite.
Yeah, and I think a big deal has to made about this. He goes around acting like the grand authority on what our rights are and then plays into the state. One wonders if he even understands the word “individual.” And those around him, I mean in all the interviews I’ve seen of him, are showering such respect, but there’s no challenging of him. Well, except for Henry. Would not mind an audio of that encounter but it’s probably drifting in the wind.
