Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that he considers himself to be on a “historic and spiritual mission” and that he is “very” connected to the idea of “Greater Israel,” a vision for significant Israeli territorial expansion in the region.
In the modern political context, Greater Israel could refer to Israel taking complete control of Gaza, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights. But for more ideological Zionists, including members of Netanyahu’s government, Greater Israel means Israeli expansion into Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, based on a biblical interpretation.
Netanyahu made the comments to Israel’s i24 when the interviewer gifted him an amulet showing “Greater Israel.” According to The Times of Israel, the amulet was not shown on camera, so it’s unclear how far it depicts Israel’s territory extending. But the Israeli leader was asked if he felt a connection to the expansionist vision and answered, “very much.”
Netanyahu has previously displayed maps that show the West Bank and Gaza as part of Israel, including when addressing the UN just weeks before October 7. Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich caused controversy in 2023 when he spoke at an event that displayed a map of Greater Israel that included Jordan.
Smotrich, who has significant power in the current Israeli government, said in an interview for a documentary produced by Arte, a European public service channel, that Israel would take territory in Arab countries “little by little” and said that “it is written that the future of Jerusalem is to expand to Damascus.”
Netanyahu was also asked in the i24 interview if he felt that he was on a mission for the “Jewish people” and said he was “on a mission of generations — there are generations of Jews that dreamt of coming here and generations of Jews who will come after us … So if you’re asking if I have a sense of mission, historically and spiritually, the answer is yes.”
So, he says he’s on a “spiritual mission.” Let’s see some of what the dictionary says about the word “spiritual”:
Spiritual: “Of a person: not concerned with material values or pursuits.”
Hmm… Seems that acquiring huge swaths of land and pursuing a path that both kills and uproots people isn’t really all that “spiritual.”

Think of it like “legalese” where the same 2 words can have the complete opposite meaning inside a courtroom as they do outside of it. There are also words that have a completely different meaning to the ones you understand or were “educated” (indoctrinated) with. Armed with this knowledge you will start to SEE more of what is “truly” being said. For instance, there are several meanings shown above that simply describe allegiance to one’s own “tribe” or like-minded kin. Number 9 under the adjectives even describes what many may consider the opposite of what they “understand” to be “spiritual”. So you see, most things are not as simple as black & white (and having just said that one short sentence I could go off an many other important related tangents here but I won’t!).
Well, I did say, “Let’s see SOME of what the dictionary says about the word ‘spiritual.’” I chose that particular definition because I found it most fitting in describing what he was both defying and defiling. But your elaboration does shed a little more light. Liars invert and subvert. More and more are seeing through this, and fewer and fewer are falling for the gross deceit. Maybe the glass IS half full.

Please watch at least the start of the first episode of the brand new (started yesterday) series “Alien: Earth”. It’s a prequel to (set only 2 years before) the original Alien movie that came out in 1979. When you watch the words that pop up on the screen right at the start before the action even begins & realize what the main premise of this particular series actually is (for the general viewing audience’s eyes & brains at least) you’ll see exactly why I mentioned it here! 😉
Sci-fi media has always mainly been about pre-programming but it seems that as time progresses the time gap between “fi” & fact is actually shrinking, dramatically in many cases. In fact I’d go as far as to posit that much of it now is only “fi” in the minds of the general public because they don’t see some of the stuff they’re seeing on the screen out on the street in front of their eyes (yet!).
And to finish on a slightly more conspiratorial note, I do also think that the whole “covid” fiasco played a role, one way or another, in moving us further down this road & getting us ready for things to come.

Oh yeah, “covid” whipped us about; ran through our lives like a tsunami of Control-By-Fear. Martial Law 102. I can’t forget we were told we had to wear a mask into a restaurant but we can take it off when we eat. It upped the stupidity level to new heights. How I remember the 6 foot rule and the arrows on the floor and the breath-shields in stores (some of which remain today). Those who complied made the whole thing more sickening to behold.

Nate, I did finally watch the first few minutes of Alien: Earth. Couldn’t take more, too dystopian, and we are all overdosed on dystopia. But I saw why you pointed it out, saw where they want to take us. And while watching, I kept affirming in myself, “I am human, and you will never turn me into a compliant machine.” Yet I see how much is already advancing today with AI and Transhumanism. Their designs are so dark and nefarious that one is hard-pressed to warn any others of how threatening and soul-destroying they are. So for the upteenth time I come as a human, armed, Bill of Rights in hand.
