      1. from second link:

        According to Wikipedia:

‘The importance (or lack thereof) of these differences has been the source of debate regarding the meaning and interpretation of [2nd] the amendment, particularly regarding the importance of the prefatory clause.

One version was passed by the Congress, and a slightly different version was ratified.

        Passed by Congress (emphasis mine):

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

        Ratified:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.’

        ratified wins 🙂

  1. One year of “legitimacy” in my glass business was enough to say, “git under that table, boy!” The taxes owed on no income was the deal, and I was not about to play any more. I never renewed it because it cost me excess fees to have a new boss! They ain’t my boss, have nothing to do with my work, (they never even offer to help), and contribute nothing to my business.
Only trouble is, if I try to advertise, they will shut me down, take my tools and fine me. It has to be all word of mouth for any new customers.
