According to Legistorm, a Capitol Hill non-profit that tracks information about Congress, the US Congress broke the record for privately-funded trips since new regulations were put in place in 2007. Lawmakers and their staff took nearly 1900 trips that cost private funders over $6 million in 2013. The Resident discusses.
