Free – All Right Now

This is a very rare clip released Circa 1969 of Free performing All Right Now (live). Released in Australia in B&W. My favourite clip by this band and highlights Paul Kossoff’s signature vibrato. Best lead ever done by Kossoff!

  1. Hey Millard thanks for posting this video of Free performing “All Right Now”. I really enjoyed this. It’s been a long, long time since I have heard this song!

    1. That song I hold very close to my heart. It brings back, for me anyway, a time of no worries and nothing but a “seemingly “bright future” when, in reality, we had already been enslaved.

  2. Hi Millard,

    Excellent choice!!!

I still remember the very first time I ever heard this song (I was just a kid in elementary school) because I thought it was the coolest song I had ever heard,…. and that still hold pretty darn true!!!

I’m a drummer, and I recently rotated this song back into my rehearsal set list,… it is just that timeless,.. I never get tired of playing it.

Also,.. as you said, it reminds me of what I preceived at that time,…. as being a seemly endless bright future for all!,… such was our innocence.

JD – US Marines – I really enjoyed seeing this live version!

    1. Hey J.D., thanks. All Right Now is still popular when played at clubs. It’s timeless. Right now we’re workin’ on Alice Cooper’s “Ballad of Dwight Fry” I’ve just takin’ it easy otherwise.
