Why does a perfect semi-circle of clouds form up between Oahu and Molokai on the National Weather Service doppler radar image? No meteorologist has been able to answer my question.

Malfunction in the radar?
HAARP?
Looks like the center of the circle is somewhere on Maui.
Don’t anyone go spoiling the conspiracy with explanations of how radar actually works or when it doesn’t.
