I do love IRA fight songs, as they apply to US because they too are occupied by an enemy force. On my first trip to the Republic of Ireland, I was in a pub in Kilkenny that had a traditional Irish 3-piece band providing instrumental backup for karaoke. A man(80yrs+) stood up and sang a very somber song acapella. Hats came off, and a party crowd turned dead silent in respect immediately. I wish I could remember the song, but I was uh, in a pub. 😉
Inspiring song, enjoyed it.
Wondered if this was a tribute to the IRA.
I’m glad you enjoyed it, I’m rather sure all the songs from Rebel Lyrics are IRA tunes.
