That bullet kicks almost as hard as a 30 ought 6 w/180 grain. A real monster. Better invest in a limb-saver.

I am partial to the .270 / 150 grain ballistic tip
I, no stranger to recoil and not adverse to it, found the 7mm Mag to be surprisingly hard kicking. I would rather shoot a .300 Win Mag than this little monster.
7.62×54 1400 yrds +
7mm in some loadings approaches and even surpasses other .300 win mag loads. The 7mm is flat shooting and a very accurate round, sometimes military snipers have asked why haven’t they went to the 7mm.
