So you’re listening to the radio in the 1970’s and this real cool song is on, then the DJ says “and that was I Feel Free by Cream”. And you say to yourself….”they’re cool”. I never ran out to buy one of their records. I didn’t even know they were only a group of 3 people, making all that great sound. But one thing about Cream….they were always there….and they were a great sounding group.
I only posted it out of respect. It was a hit that he wrote and performed. Henry/Admin. chose to post it as as “stand alone” rather than as part of this post: http://www.fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/jack-bruce-dead-cream-bass-player-dies-aged-71-after-liver-disease-battle/109177
Thank you for your snarky remark. BTW, it was from the 60’s (released in 1967 to be precise) NOT 70’s. I wasn’t a fan, either. I never ran out to buy a single one of their albums. I learned about them later (friends in Grad. School). I appreciate their individual musicianship and some of their lyrics, but I sure couldn’t listen to entire album.
good music…. tragic disease. Death is never pleasant from what I can see.
Keep on Keeping on Angel. Hang tough. As Daniel used to say “keep the faith bro” maybe someday you, me, Millard, and anyone else who has a desire, can get together and enjoy a fatty in his honor. 🙂
