Sister of Boston Marathon bombing suspect charged with making bomb threat

CNN – by Rande Iaboni

New York (CNN) — The sister of the Boston marathon bombing suspect was arrested in New York City Wednesday for allegedly making a bomb threat, police said.

Ailina Tsarnaev, 24, sister of Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was charged with aggravated harassment after a bomb threat was made by phone to another woman on Monday.

The recipient — whose name was not released — notified police of the threat, according to NYPD Lt. John Grimpel.

Ailina Tsarnaev, a resident of North Bergen, New Jersey, turned herself in to authorities on Wednesday.

Her boyfriend shares a child with the woman who was threatened, Grimpel said.

Alina Tsarnaev is no longer in custody and is expected to report to Manhattan criminal court on September 30, according to Grimpel.

Calls to her attorney were not immediately returned to CNN.

Her brothers were accused of planting pressure-cooker bombs at the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon that killed three people and injured more than 260. They also wer\

accused of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Techology police officer.

Older brother Tamerlan was killed in a police shootout and Dzhokhar was captured in the days after the bombing. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is awaiting trial in November on terrorism charges.

  1. Umm, yeah, sure. Jealous lover reports rival over threat she says happened. The PTB seem intent on eliminating all traces of those even remotely connected to the Boston bombing hoax.

    1. Yep frank, definitely a witch hunt to silence and remove ALL nonparticipants in the smoke-bombing hoax and discredit the enemy of the joos. If these people were so hellbent on bombing us, why did mossad and the feds have to fake it? Question answers itself.

  2. She must know something the feds don’t want getting out. So how convenient that she makes a threat like that. Its so easy to see through these things anymore. You really gotta be living in a cave to believe this shit. She knows or has something.

  3. See something you thought you saw or heard, say something that the TPTB want you to say. Cover up anything that may incriminate the criminal elite.
