Description:The Keystone Pipeline, set to span from Canada to the Texas coast is supposed to help oil supplies. As “CBS This Morning” points out, there’s been no shortage of controversy surrounding it. Julia Trigg Crawford has rejected a $21,000 offer from pipeline owner TransCanada to allow construction on her land, saying they don’t have a right to it. Crawford is worried about the possible contamination and has pointed out that TransCanada’s first pipeline had a dozen spills in its first year. The entire project will reportedly cost $7.6 billion.
