I learned that a few days before the coup to oust Chavez took place OPEC nations were going to refuse to sell oil to the U.S. because it supported Israel. They tried to oust Chavez so they would have a back up oil supply if the OPEC nations followed through with their threat.
They killed him with an extremely virulent cancer.
