Abby Martin goes over some of the most egregious laws against the homeless and the different ways cities are dealing with the issue, citing Columbia, South Carolina’s mandatory fee to feed homeless people in parks, Osceola County, Florida’s 1000+ arrests of the same 37 people for panhandling and sleeping in public and San Francisco’s alleged hosing down of the homeless.

The people in power. They really are all cowards when you think about it. Because they attack the most vulnerable of our society to make them feel even more powerful. Sickening.
I would go to jail, will admit,do not want to be in jail when it breaks down(actually, never want to be in jail!),but would be more then willing to feed the homeless while being filmed from a distance/demand a trial/refuse to pay any fines.Do not ignore jury duty, you can if selected make a difference thru jury nullification!
“Do not ignore jury duty, you can if selected make a difference thru jury nullification!”
SERIOUSLY???
Do you actually believe there is one SHRED of credibility remaining concerning the justUS court system?
You really need to swallow the RED pill ALL the way down, James.
Well the homeless need to fight back, and we need to feed them so they have the energy. In the good old days cops used to get beaten up now and then, and I think those actions will become popular once again.
If you talk to any homeless people, please inform them that shelter workers are reporting huge numbers of homeless people disappearing, and police harassment is the least of their worries.
If I had a lot of money I would definitely help homeless people out. I don’t care if the damn city fines me all day. We all make some poor choices in life. Some more than others. But I think I have stated this before. We have got to find a way to get homeless people off the streets. But obviously the politicians and the elite don’t care. No way to run a society in my opinion.
