2 stopped by police in Newtown not on watch list

I don’t think much of Pete Santilli but the idea of screwing with the outspoken troubles me and it is a potential heads up.

UPDATE: The two people stopped by Newtown police have been cleared of suspicion of being on a national watch list, Chief Tom Synan said.

Peter Santilli,  who was driving an Isuzu Trooper,  and his female passenger were detained after police were alerted when they ran a check on the vehicle’s license plate.

The two were detained for between 45 minutes and an hour before they were cleared, Synan said.

Synan said there are a number of identifiers for people on the list and anytime something close to an identifier on the list is searched, police have to investigate further.

Police stopped the vehicle because Santilli was going about 20 miles per hour in a 50 mile per hour area, Synan said.

Police believe Santilli was going slow because he was texting, Synan said.

Santilli was born in 1965, Synan said, but his exact age is not known.

Synan said police found a loaded 9mm Smith and Wesson in a bag between the passenger’s feet while searching the vehicle.

It’s not unusual for people investigated during stops to lead to alerts on national lists, Synan said, but police were especially diligent as the loaded weapon was found.

Santilli, who recently moved to the Cincinnati area, has been charged with illegally carrying a concealed weapon, Synan said. The female passenger is not facing any charges.

EARLIER STORY: Two people police said may be on the terror watch list were arrested in Newtown on Friday.

The two were taken into custody after a 1:26 p.m. traffic stop on Little Dry Run Road and Main Street, according to Hamilton County Dispatch.

Guns were recovered during the traffic stop, according to dispatch.

In a since deleted tweet, the Newtown Police Department wrote this afternoon: “Newtown officers conducted a traffic stop at Main Street and Little Dry Run. Two suspects in custody may be listed on terror watch list.”

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and Mariemont officers are now on the scene, in addition to Newtown officers.

  1. DO THE MATH.

    2015 – 1965 = 50

He has a license for the gun, why is he detained?

Explain where this suspicion came from please.
What kind of tell, what kind of investigation, alerted by what when the plate was run?

Was he pulled over for driving slow, or was there something wrong that you are failing to mention or explain.

There is no real information in the article except that Chief Tom Synan doesn’t know how to do math.

    1. License plates carry much more information than just owner and vehicle type. Stopped for going too slow? A majority of police don’t know that stops require probable cause. Unless there is a prohibitory sign stating a minimum speed limit, lets go to court and sort out this illegal stop. That’s what works for me. I will fight for my right to travel unmolested.

  2. “….cleared of suspicion of being on a national watch list.”

So now you can be detained for being on a watch list?

That’s the end of due process (or the illusion of it). They’re not even pretending that this is America anymore.

  3. Watch List is now Detain/Arrest list? I suspect a lot of top officials of possibly be Pedophiles, so does that give reason to investigate them thoroughly just because of suspicion and detain them if they are with children?

  4. Time to start packing anytime I walk out the door. If made up lists is criteria for violating rights and incarcerating we truely are living in Nazi Germany. Do not go quietly into the night. Shoot first, and don’t give a damn about questions later. Time to put the oppressors in the ground every time they are ” just following orders”.

    1. “… we truely are living in Nazi Germany.”

Except that Hitler didn’t disarm German nationals.

      Not even by ‘Executive Order’.

  5. “Two people police said may be on the terror watch list were arrested in Newtown on Friday.”

    Somewhat of a conundrum here.

If the list(s) is/are SO secret that one cannot even find out one is on it UNTIL they actually buy a ticket and then attempt to board the plane (at which point they’re finally informed), then how can the pigs even have access to such lists, merely by running a wants/warrants check that has absolutely NOTHING to do with flying???

    Something reeks.

  6. This stinks. Everyone knows Santilli is an FBI informant. This only makes it look like he is one of us and got handled by the man. BS….they know exactly who he is and the psyop has to appear seemless. Hey Pete! SandyHoax pigs are the last people that I would choose to rebuild your last shredd of credibility. Asshole.

    1. But… but… but… he get’s all those e-mails from all those high level whistleblowers… you mean he’s not really (GASP!) one of US???

      Say it ain’t so!

      1. F##kin A. To put it nicely, he’s known. And another thing I was explaining to my brother the other day about how this shit works, why do you know Snowden’s name and not William Binneys? Uh huh……..? He’s starting to get it thank god. The “low hanging fruit”, “Family jewels”, and “Limited hangouts”. He’s getting schooled, but, it’s working as I’m always right if he gives me enough time…..and that is what we need. Proof and time.

    2. Newtown is a suburb of Cincinnati but either way you’re spot on. Psyop to the nth degree nonetheless. They have been picking towns called “Newtown” a lot recently though for their psyops. I suppose it muddies search results as well as adding links to the mind with chaos, confusion and tragedy to the mix?
