NJ.com – by A.J. PerezEAST RUTHERFORD — The Brooklyn man arrested after he interrupted Super Bowl XVIII MVP Malcolm Smith’s postgame news conference didn’t start Sunday looking to make it onto national TV and, ultimately, into handcuffs.
Matthew Mills, an 30-year-old independent journalist from Brooklyn, told NJ.com his aim was just to get close to MetLife Stadium — which had layers of security in what’s supposed to be the most secure sporting event in the United States — so he could conduct some fan interviews.
Then the self-described 9/11 truther saw an employee bus at Secaucus Junction and hopped aboard.
Around Mills’ neck was an old credential from a festival he covered, a rectangular badge that, at quick glance, didn’t look too dissimilar from the ones issued to media members, team employees and others who worked the Super Bowl.
He also used a common refrain whenever hassled by security, which is supposed verify each credential or ticket with a barcode along with putting attendees through other security screenings.
“I just said I was running late for work and I had to get in there,” Mills said. “It was that simple.”
Mills said he got through multiple layers of security using that bogus story.
“I didn’t think that I’d get that far,” Mill said. “I just kept getting closer and closer. Once I got past the final gate and into the stadium, I was dumbfounded.”
After the game concluded, Mills walked into the media tent, where players and coaches were brought for interviews.
“I just saw my opportunity to get my word out there and I took it,” Mills said.
Mills grabbed the microphone as Smith began to talk to reporters and said the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington were “perpetrated by people in our own government.”
“Check his press pass,” Smith said with a smirk after the initial shock wore off.
He didn’t have one. Mills didn’t even have a ticket. Still, he was able to get his message out to a national audience as ESPN and other outlets showed the presser live.
Mills was quickly ushered off the dais by a public relations representative and eventually arrested. Mills left the area without a struggle and was charged with trespassing. He was released a couple hours later on his own recognizance.
But Mills’ gate-crashing leaves people wondering: With all of the millions spent on security, how safe is the Super Bowl anyway?
An NFL spokesman has referred all questions to the New Jersey State Police, the law enforcement agency that oversees the Meadowlands.
An NJ State Police spokesman gave NJ.com Mills’ name, but didn’t immediately return a message inquiring about how Mills was able to get into MetLife.
Mills is affiliated with WeAreChange, an organization whose aim is “confronting prominent and powerful people with the tough questions the mainstream media doesn’t want to ask.”
That’s incredible. Unfortunately, will be dismissed as just another loon, possibly even… Al-Qiada!!!
maybe — but I’m sure he turned enough heads with that statement to awaken a few thousand people, at least.
And what’s really important here is that he reached NEW people, instead of talking to the same cliques on the internet.
What we have here is another genuine hero of the truth movement.
I wish I could say I’d accomplished what he did.
Given the brilliance of government workers in DHS, TSA, ATF, FBI and local “law enforcement,” this revolution may be much easier than we ever imagined.
Awesome as long as it was not controlled opposition and done on purpose. Given the way things are these days, it makes you wonder if this was a part of the elite’s plan.
This also reminds me of a small V for Vendetta. The MSM and government appear to look tough and unstoppable on their MSM TV, but all it takes is one person or a small man team to infiltrate and come out in the open and reveal the government’s weakness and the truth in public on MSM TV, no matter what the cost.
As long as this is real, it will greatly piss off the elite. It shows the power and effect of guerrilla warfare tactics against a centralized army and that nothing will stop us from restoring our country and our freedom.

On a.jones website today I couldn’t find anything about this and he was so big on 9/11 earlier this year…maybe I overlooked it but more likely it is not on his true agenda…he doesn’t cover ‘where the rubber meets the road.’
Actually Jones had the guy on his broadcast this morning. It was a mainstream event. There were ratings involved.
OUTSTANDING!!! On national (global?) television, no less.
Kudos to this guy. We need more bold ones like him that are willing to risk incarceration to say what must be said. Not that most of us here wouldn’t do what he did, given the chance, but it’s very difficult to be at the right place at the right time for something of this nature to be accomplished.

I found this early this morning and watched it so many times to absorb it, I was like what!!! I can’t believe he said that! Then when I finally snapped out of it, Jolly Roger had already posted the highlights.
I was shocked that he had time to grab the mike and give his statement.
Funny thing is, around 7am during the local news, they were reporting on this part of the players statements, but oh so predictable the “crasher” was absent. I couldn’t stop laughing at the fact that we know the news is censored,but I was watching the online version, then the MSM version almost neck and neck. And to think, I was tuning in for the weather. LOL
