It is a rather well-known fact that few New Yorkers (they’re estimating less than ten percent) will comply with the registration provisions of the NY Safe Act. If this post is legitimate, it suggests that law enforcement in New York is attempting to develop intelligence on New York’s gun owners.
I’ll leave the speculation on how they might use that intelligence to you.
This ties in with the DHS’s buying up all of the ammo, and then the shutting down of the lead factory.
DHS will be the only one who can supply ammo, and is obviously using this as an advantage in their confiscation plans.
Thanks for the heads-up, Paraclete, as this tactic will no doubt spread across the United States.
There are plenty of businesses that accept CASH down in PA so take a drive. Just do the speed limit on the way back so not to draw attention. You could even call ahead making a large order for some friends and yourself developing a great relationship with an out of state ammo or firearms dealer. F nys, you just lost more tax revenue!

Doesn’t surprise me that the NY police are stooping to a new low every week, but what’s most telling here is all of the manpower they’re willing to devote to firearms confiscation. I guess it’s their priority now.
