Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all charges, but that is not the end of prosecutions over George Floyd’s death. Cases are ongoing against three other officers involved in the fatal arrest.
The three officers — Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane — each face two charges: aiding and abetting second-degree murder, which carries a maximum sentence of 40 years, although Reuters reports sentencing guidelines reduce that to 15 years; and aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years. One person was killed and two others were wounded during a shooting at a suburban New York grocery store Tuesday morning, police said. The supected gunman is till on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous.
Police believe a current or former employee named Gabriel DeWitt Wilson, 31, opened fire at a Stop & Shop grocery store in West Hempstead, in Nassau County on Long Island, shortly after 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder said. Planned Parenthood is tapping into a new market, reaching out to young people who identify as transgender and offering them hormone therapy.
Attorney Mary Hasson, a fellow in the Catholic Studies program at the Washington, D.C.-based Ethics & Public Policy Center, has followed the trend for several years and says it makes financial sense, given the growing number of adolescents and young adults who consider themselves to be transgender or simply gender non-conforming. A gunman has killed at least 10 people, including a police officer, during a mass shooting at a Colorado grocery store.
The violence unfolded at the Kings Sooper store in Boulder on Monday afternoon and the shooter’s motive has not been determined, law-enforcement officials told the Wall Street Journal.

Virologists and public health authorities aren’t publicly saying what this means, at least not yet… but they know there may be something very ominous unfolding. Something virologists all feared.
