Last week, the Department of Justice filed its response to Apple’s appeal in the ongoing San Bernardino case. The government is attempting to force Apple to create a method of bypassing the security that would unlock an iPhone 5C that belonged to the shooter, Apple is fighting this demand by arguing against the 1789 All Writs Act that the DOJ has used against it. The Orange County District Attorney’s office (OCDA) has filed charges against three of the police officers seen in a notorious surveillance video eating pot-laced candy bars during a May 26, 2015 raid of a Santa Ana medical marijuana dispensary, Sky High Holistic. Jailed rancher Cliven Bundy refused to acknowledge federal authority and declined to enter a plea in a U.S. court to criminal charges that he that he led an armed standoff against federal agents two years ago.

LaVoy Finicum loved his country and its founding principle of freedom, which he believed is God given, according to Jeanette Finicum, the widow of the Arizona rancher killed by police Jan. 26.

Kyle Andrew Odom, the suspect in the shooting of an Idaho pastor, was taken into custody Tuesday at the White House, a source at the U.S. Secret Service told CNN.
