A Boston police officer has shot and killed a man who had been under surveillance by the FBI‘s Joint Terrorism Task Force, ABC News has learned.
An officer and an FBI agent approached the suspect at about 7 a.m. today in the parking lot of a CVS in Roslindale, Massachusetts, police said. The suspect pulled a “military-style knife,” prompting the officer to use lethal force, according to police.
The suspect died at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, police said. The man’s name was not immediately released.
The incident comes only a day after the U.S. Senate failed to renew key provisions of the PATRIOT Act, which federal authorities insist allows them to more sufficiently track so-called “lone wolf” terrorists who radicalize themselves online.
FBI Director James Comey recently called losing such tools “a huge problem.”

That’s the first clue in all of these cases, they never state the reason why they approached the individual in the first place. This script is so damn old.
