Ahhhh, you mention the Columbia River. In case you’ve never been there, one of my favorite places on earth is The Columbia River Gorge, less than 50 miles east of Portland. I have to call it sacred. And how it blessed my youth!! Here’s a peek:
The Idaho Snake River which eventually turns into the Columbia River right at the boarder is also a beautiful sight.
“The Snake River originates in Wyoming and arcs across southern Idaho before turning north along the Idaho-Oregon border. The river then enters Washington and flows west to the Columbia River. It is the Columbia’s largest tributary, an important source of irrigation water for potatoes, sugar beets, and other crops.”
So much beauty that goes hand in hand with the corruption, sad….
Was 41 degrees at about 6 am here in far west Texas about 2,500 miles south of you, Mark….other places near here was mid-30s!
It’s actually very pleasant here in the Portland area.
The area maybe.
But the city itself SUCKS!
I dont do city..LOL only dist centers on the outskirts.
Thanks, Mark.
