Congressman Makes Claim About ‘Potential Terrorist Infiltration’ In Vegas Shooting, Offers No Evidence

The Daily Caller – by Justin Caruso

Republican Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry appeared on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Thursday and claimed that he has been “made aware” of “credible information regarding potential terrorist infiltration through the southern border” on the Las Vegas massacre.

However, Rep. Perry offered no evidence to back up this claim.

Perry said, “Recently I have been made aware of what I believe to be credible evidence, credible information regarding potential terrorist infiltration through the southern border regarding this incident.”

Carlson asked “Terrorist…connections?”

“Yes, sir,” Perry said.

The Daily Caller co-founder asked, “So what’s the outline of that?”

“Well, they could be–lets face it, ISIS twice before the attack, ISIS warned the United States that they would attack Las Vegas in June and August after the attack claimed responsibility four times. Meanwhile, the local law enforcement investigative services are telling us there is no terrorist connection–lone gunman, again, something is not adding up,” Perry replied.

Carlson said, “Well, that’s part of my confusion.” The Fox host then turned to fellow guest Catherine Lombardo, an attorney for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting, and asked, “Catherine, can you just confirm that this investigation is still being overseen by state and local authorities rather than federal?”

Lombardo said, “That’s right. The FBI and the Las Vegas metro police department have been conducting the investigation. We’ve seen no evidence of a terrorist attack, and I will ask with all due respect, congressman, unless have you specific evidence to back that up, it seems a bit irresponsible to make that allegation so, if you do, or make that assertion, if do you have any evidence of that, I’m asking you right now to share it with us and tell us what that is. My clients…”

“Well, I’m not able…” Perry responded.

“… my client, victims, all 22,000 people have been waiting and waiting and waiting for evidence,” Lombardo finished.

Perry said, “We’ve all been waiting, and I’m waiting, too. Like I said, nothing adds up, but I’m just telling you, I have received what I feel to be and believe to be credible evidence of a possible terrorist nexus, and we’re gonna have to wait…”

Lombardo asked “What is it? What is it?”

“…until that situation develops,” Perry finished.

Perry also said during the interview that the National Counterterrorism Center should have a role in the investigation, stating, “If ISIS warns about an attack and then an attack occurs and claims responsibility after the fact, it seems to me that at a minimum, they should have some portion of the investigation to clearly debunk that claim and, yet, it hasn’t happened.”

  1. If it actually were Isis, the government and media would not have hesitated to use it as they have any other false flag or actual attack and say it was them. But given that multiple witnesses saw other people of interest who clearly were not isis or anything of the sort. These people were organized and local. There is a multitude of evidence showing it’s not the way they tell it and that there were more than one gunmen. There is absolutely no reason or sense in hiding Isis involvement. In fact, it would only help the BS war on terror propaganda. But there is reason to hide domestic mercenary involvement.

EXACTLY……and I’m surprised they didn’t start screaming “ISIS” as soon as it became widely known that there were multiple shooters. Instead they tried to cover it up and lie about it for months, and only came up with this latest ISIS story after realizing that the cat’s out of the bag.
