A suspect in the deadly shooting Thursday night that left five police officers dead was identified Friday morning as Micah Johnson, according to multiple reports.

Police said earlier Friday one suspect had died after authorities detonated a bomb following an armed standoff. Police said the man said he acted alone and wasn’t connected to other groups.
Three other suspects were being held after authorities said snipers opened fire on police during a protest over police-involved shootings, hitting a dozen officers as well as two civilians.
