Comedian George Carlin does a funny routine about an Indian Staff Sergeant on The Merv Griffin show in 1965. Unless you followed George his entire career most people wouldn’t recognize his clean cut look that he was sporting in 1965 all his sense of humor and wit are the same as in his later years. Maybe 1965 was the turning point for people turning into free spirits and hippies cause Willie Nelson in 1965 looked different as well.
I didn’t recognize him even his routine was foreign to me.
He looked a lot different then didn’t he? LOL
Remember what Willie Nelson looked like?
Remember Waylon Jennings, when he started out?
Wow what a difference. Aint gonna show ya what i used to look like. 🙄 (rolling eyes)
LOL
LMAO Paul but not at you, since I dont know what you look like now.
It aint pretty Susan. 😉
By the way Susan. Check your email.
I’ve never seen this before. “Eagles dipped in feather’s blood”, mistake or part of the routine? lol First good belly laugh of the day, thank you Susan!
Worth ah Grin, I could barely Barrett. George even started out Great n just kept gettin better.
I remember him back then Sue. he was funny. 😆
So do I. 😆
Careful Angel. Your not as old as me. you were probably 2 or 3 back then. 🙂
LOL I still remember what the mobile looked like over my crib and climbing out of my baby bed for the first time (with the looks on my parents faces as I toddled in to watch TV with them). 😉 (that’s suppose to be a “wink”)
aaaaaaaaahahahaha. “wink” got it. 😆
I remember my father hated George Carlin back in the 70’s because he was “a long-haired hippie freak”. In the 90’s, my father couldn’t wait for his next HBO special. Oh how time seems to change attitudes more than anything else.
yeah Millard time changes a lot of things. 🙂
Agreed.
Man these new icons are strange.
They sure are. 🙁
Gotta put on glasses to see their expressions 😆
Me, too. I can’t make out the “wink” at all.
