Here is a good start for anyone wanting to move away from windows 10.
I made that switch years ago. It was a self teaching ordeal but now there is no way I would go back. I use Ubuntu and it is SO much better than windows I sent Canonical a C note and then some for the effort. No defrags, very few lock ups and most of those my fault, NO data loss at all, no need for antivirus and once you become familiar with it you will find it much easier to fiddle with and easier to rescue when your fiddling screws everything up. All Hail Linus Torvalds!
