McDonald’s worker busted for Happy Meal heroin

Drive-through customers at a Pittsburgh McDonald’s who asked for “a toy” got a little something extra with their Happy Meal — heroin, local authorities said Wednesday.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Shania Dennis after buying the drug at the McDonald’s where she worked, in the city’s East Liberty section, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. Officers from the Allegheny County District Attorney’s narcotics unit found 10 bags of heroin in a Happy Meal box and recovered 50 more bags from Dennis.

Customers who said, “I’d like to order a toy” were directed to the drive-through’s first window, where they were handed a Happy Meal box containing stamp packets of heroin, a DA spokesman said.

Earlier this month, another McDonald’s worker was arrested for selling heroin from a company outlet in nearby Murrysville.

The DA said the drugs recovered Wednesday do not appear to be related to the fentanyl-laced heroin that has been blamed for 22 overdose deaths in southwestern Pennsylvania.

  1. Great. Now you can go to the same window for your smack attack as your Big Mac attack, and the dope is probably healthier than the food.

If you love your heroin, don’t forget to thank the troops in Afghanistan who are fighting hard to protect your right to be a junkie, and the C.I.A. for the quick delivery system.

    1. Yep. When I worked as a cook I saw more drugs go in and out of that place than a pharmacy – and there were all different kinds and types of drugs being bought and sold there. Yea, most buyers and sellers were high school kids at that. That was 10 + years ago so I can only imagine the amount still being bought and sold there and ohter places like that. Yes, those kids loved those “spoon straws” to be sure.
