This could be an ugly weekend for widespread civil unrest as the nation gears up for the National March Against Sharia.
Now, being against Sharia Law is not exactly unreasonable. Some of the most horrific crimes in the world are based on these principles, such as honor killings, female genital mutilation, and the brutal murders of homosexual people. (source)
However, in our current, highly-charged political climate, a protest like this is like pouring gasoline on a pile of newspapers sitting on a stack of wood. It will only take one small spark to start an inferno that could consume a lot of innocent bystanders.
The organizers of the marches, ACT for America, say that this is not an anti-Muslim event, but an anti-Sharia Law event.
On Saturday, June 10, 2017, ACT for America is having March Against Sharia events in cities across the nation.
This is a march against Sharia law and for human rights. Our nation is built on the freedom of religion — a pillar of our democracy — which we must always respect, protect, and honor. However many aspects of Sharia law run contrary to basic human rights and are completely incompatible with our laws and our democratic values.
We, at ACT for America, are committed to protecting women and children from Sharia Law and its impact on Muslim women and children including honor killing and Female Genital Mutilation. We must ensure that every woman and child enjoy the protection afforded by the U.S. Constitution. (source)
However, they also noted that some organizers are creating their own events and those may not stand on the same premise.
ACT for America cancelled its June 10th “March Against Sharia, March for Human Rights” event in Arkansas when we became aware that the organizer is associated with white supremacist groups. This is against all of our values.
We have since learned that the organizer may go forward with an event anyway – billing it as a “March Against Sharia” event. Any event held by this individual is not sanctioned by ACT for America, and is not supported or endorsed by ACT for America in any manner. We regret any confusion that this individual’s actions may cause, and are working with our counsel to demand he cease and desist promotion of his event in a way that will confuse it as being sanction or approved by us. This is already highly controversial. When rogue operators with different values get involved…well…we’re on very thin ice.
When the counter-protesters get involved, things could get ugly.

The Oath Keepers and the Three Percenters have vowed to provide security (source), and things could get ugly if the “protests” in Berkeley, California and Portland, Oregon are any type of examples. Expect widespread counter protests from “social justice warriors” that could turn the whole thing into a free-for-all.

Events like this could be a flashpoint for triggering massive civil unrest in the neighborhoods around the rallies. This could result in vandalism against mosques and neighborhoods with high Islamic populations. If this occurs, it isn’t outrageous to expect retaliation.
Violence could well erupt and become more widespread as we fan the flames of hatred. While this has been organized around the premise that Sharia law, which targets women, children, and gay people, is wrong, it’s likely to spin into an anti-Muslim/pro-Muslim event.

Are you prepped for massive civil unrest this weekend?
If you happen to live near any of these places, consider putting some extra preps into place and sticking close to home in order to avoid any potential ugliness.
Maybe I’m wrong and these will be peaceful events. I certainly hope so.

“March Against Sharia,” LOL. Sounds like more Jewish “let’s you and him fight” agitation of the sort Pamela Geller would come up with. “Yeah, defend freedom against those evil Muslims! Woo hoo!”

There are many, more important issues that need action.
I’m suspicious of how large this Sharia effort is.
The method Dr. Bill Warner https://www.politicalislam.com proposes, makes more sense to me than marches.
He proposes teaching Kafirs, (non believers), about Islam.
His premise: A non muslim would not want to join up, and would in fact take a negative stance, once he has learned the facts about Islam and has studied what the consequences of Islam, have been through history.
Same process for Sharia, a portion of Islam. No sane woman would sign up.
We didn’t have our rights ignored and all those crimes that you mentioned, foisted upon us Americans overnight. It was an intentional and purposefully slow cancerous erosion of what the average American believed and accepted as the truth.
Mainly, that the law, and the way of life that Americans choose to live by, is the Constitution with inalienable rights that government servants promised under oath to uphold and defend.
We should ask ourselves, do we have enough people who know the truth, enough to be willing to fight for their rights against these criminals?
How many even know that what you stated above are crimes against them?
How many would throw just up their hands and say, oh well it’s the law!, nothing I can do!
How many people care? Judging by how many people took time to come see the USS Liberty Memorial at the library on the 50th anniversary, few care.
I think Americans will have to feel much more pain before they will do anything. Then, what will they do? What do they know to do?
