Gerald Stomski, Woodbury First Selectman and Barbara Henry, Roxbury First Selectman, are both police chiefs as defined by their duties. Their advice for freshman Representative Esty made the most sense. Removing the onerous burden of governments’ insatiable appetite for taxes and spending would solve many of the social problems being addressed by the current stampede to further restrict lawful gun ownership.
