From the Puff Ho: U.S. Warns China Not To Attempt Crimea-Style Action In Asia
WASHINGTON, April 3 (Reuters) – China should not doubt the U.S. commitment to defend its Asian allies and the prospect of economic retaliation should also discourage Beijing from using force to pursue territorial claims in Asia in the way Russia has in Crimea, a senior U.S. official said on Thursday.
Daniel Russel, President Barack Obama’s diplomatic point man for East Asia, said it was difficult to determine what China’s intentions might be, but Russia’s annexation of Crimea had heightened concerns among U.S. allies in the region about the possibility of China using force to pursue its claims.

“The president of the United States and the Obama administration is firmly committed to honoring our defense commitments to our allies,” he said.”
Yawn. Pretty soon all this talk of red lines is going to put me to sleep. There is nothing behind it and everyone in the world knows it.
When I saw the headline I assumed someone bought him a new coloring book, but now that I’ve read the article, I see he’s just trying to make the Chinese laugh a little louder at him.
Of course you realize that there’s no real opposition here. Obama is the commie mole who’s turning this country over to his comrades in China and Russia. WW3 is in the making, and we’re scheduled to lose this one.
Everything about obama is a red line and ever increasing red line at that. Does that fool even think for a second that those foreign leaders give a damn about what he thinks? I can hear them laughing from here!
When I read the headline I thought it was part 3 of the Rodney Dangerfield jokes.
